Corrections are the most useful mail this site gets. If something here is wrong, out of date, or contradicts what a manufacturer publishes, say so and point at the source. Every page carries the references it was written from, and a page that turns out to have leaned on the wrong one gets fixed rather than defended.

Things worth writing about

  • A factual error, especially anything involving brakes, helmets, torque figures or e-bike batteries. Those pages are the ones where being wrong matters most, and they get corrected first.
  • A source that has moved or gone dead. Every external link here points at a real organization, and organizations reorganize their websites.
  • A maintenance job that belongs on the site and is not here yet, particularly one that fits an interval rather than a symptom.
  • Something that does not work on your phone. The mobile menu, the two calculators and the wide tables are the parts most likely to misbehave on a screen size nobody thought about.

Things this address cannot help with

  • Diagnosing a specific bike by email. A mechanic with the bike in front of them will be faster and correct, and this site is not a substitute for that.
  • Anything urgent involving a battery that is swollen, hot, damaged or smelling. Stop using it, keep it away from anything flammable, and contact the manufacturer or a qualified service center rather than waiting on a reply here.
  • Product placement, sponsored posts, guest articles and link exchanges. The answer is no, and it will stay no.

Before writing, the answer may already be on Bike Maintenance Glossary or in All Maintenance Tasks.
